Returns & Refund Policy
At Murray Watersports, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This Returns & Refund Policy outlines the conditions that apply to returns, exchanges and refunds.
Change of Mind Returns
We may accept change-of-mind returns within 30 days of delivery, subject to the following conditions:
- The item must be unused, unassembled and in its original condition.
- All original packaging, manuals, accessories, tags and components must be included.
- The product and packaging must be in a condition suitable for resale.
- Proof of purchase from Murray Watersports is required.
- The customer is responsible for all return freight costs.
- Original shipping and delivery charges are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns.
- Approved change-of-mind returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, calculated on the purchase price of the returned item.
The remaining balance will be refunded to the original payment method once the returned item has been received and inspected.
Murray Watersports reserves the right to refuse a change-of-mind return where an item has been used, installed, assembled, damaged, altered, is incomplete, or is not returned in suitable resale condition.
Please contact us before returning an item. Returns sent without prior approval may experience delays in processing.
Non-Returnable Change of Mind Items
Unless otherwise agreed by Murray Watersports, change-of-mind returns are not available for:
- Special-order or custom-order products
- Clearance or final-sale products
- Products that have been installed, fitted, assembled or used
- Products that have been modified or altered
- Items missing original packaging, accessories or components
- Personal-use or safety equipment where returning the product would create a hygiene or safety concern
These exclusions apply to change-of-mind returns only and do not limit any rights available under Australian Consumer Law.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, or does not meet the consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law, please contact Murray Watersports as soon as reasonably possible.
Depending on the circumstances and the nature of the problem, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy under Australian Consumer Law.
The 25% restocking fee does not apply to returns where you are entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law.
Where a product is claimed to be faulty, Murray Watersports may inspect or assess the product to determine the nature of the issue before providing the appropriate remedy.
Where required by Australian Consumer Law, Murray Watersports will also reimburse reasonable return costs associated with returning a faulty product.
Damaged in Transit
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible and provide:
- Your order number
- A description of the damage
- Photographs of the product
- Photographs of the packaging and shipping label
Please retain the product and all packaging while we investigate the matter with the carrier.
Refund Processing
Once an approved return has been received and inspected, we will process the applicable refund.
For approved change-of-mind returns, the 25% restocking fee and any non-refundable freight charges will be deducted from the refund.
Refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this Returns & Refund Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. Where there is a major failure, consumers may be entitled to choose a refund or replacement. Other remedies may apply where a failure is minor.
